LSR Injection molding is a major method of making items that use LSR material (Liquid Silicon Rubber: an elastic, high-performance polymer). LSR is a buoyant rubber so it can be stretched and flexed. It is capable of dealing with even the hottest and coldest temperatures without breaking. Because of this, it is a great candidate for making things such as baby and medical instruments, and even car parts. Now, the flip side of LSR being so clean is that it is also extremely safe for products that are used in a hygienic environment.


Advantages of using LSR injection in manufacturing

How the LSR injection molding process works? A unique machine combines two separate liquids to create a new, shapeable material which can be per-formed into many different shapes. Now this material is moved on a mold (a form or shape of the item we want to produce) and poured into it to take the shape. The material is injected, with heat used to harden it in the mold. After the mold with setting muck cools, the ready article can be manually removed from it and used for its intended purpose. (Sealant with additives is moisture resistant); filling material (synthetic winterize or away spout).

 

Cost efficient: It is very cheap [sic] or in other words cost effective. Such method reduces waste: not only Rega (yixing) silicone injection molding uses less steps to manufacture the product, but also requires little human intervention which results in lower labor costs.
